He explains that a sense of connection isn’t just something for the workplace but should happen in all areas of life. Matthew shares personal stories and examples, showing how small actions—like making eye contact or putting your phone away—can make others feel noticed and appreciated. He also highlights the importance of listening to people’s stories and perspectives, pointing out that fostering connection is a choice we make through behaviors that help people feel like they are truly valued.
