BCBA Task List Content based on the RBT Course

BCBA Foundations

This set of instructional materials is designed to support the learning process of foundational skills on the way to becoming a BCBA. All videos and practice quizzes are designed to facilitate basic skills development for aspiring school-based BCBAs to complete their aqua EMF skills.

Intentionally engaging creative content from real-life contexts

We’ve heard from many RBTs that a lot of pre-licensure courses are… well, in the words of one we talked with, "snooze-worthy."

Learning is most effective when you’re not dozing off, so we’ve embedded various TikTokers, homebrewed memes, and pop culture exemplars throughout the course including: Shrek, Seinfeld, The Bachelor, House, Big Bang Theory, Rugrats, Caillou, The Office, Brooklyn 99.

Built for aspiring BCBAs, by practicing school-based behavior specialists

Inspired, created, and delivered by practicing school-based behavior specialists who truly understand the unique scenarios that school-based RBTs encounter day in and day out.

We frame everything in these resources within the context of the school environment to give you a solid foundation for becoming a school-based BCBA.

Developed with funding from the United States Department of Education

“But I’ve never seen content that actually delivered relevant, school-based content” - you’re right. We’re the first group to build this, that we know of.

The United States Department of Education recognized this gap as well, and that's why they funded the development of this innovative, cross-listed series of resources.
