Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) & Paraeducator Competency Alignment

All of this course content is cross-listed with the Core Competencies for Special Education Paraeducators by the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC).
Not only is this is a great way to cross-train paraprofessionals, but you can use education grant funding to pay for these training seats.

Built for school-based staff, by practicing school-based behavior specialists.

Inspired, created, and delivered by practicing school-based behavior specialists who truly understand the unique scenarios that school-based staff encounter day in and day out.

We frame everything in this course within the context of the school environment to give you a solid foundation as a school-based behavior technician.

Developed with funding from the United States Department of Education

“But I’ve never seen a RBT 40-Hour Pre-Licensure Course that actually delivered relevant, school-based content.” You’re right, we don’t think you have - because we’re the first course to do so that we know of.

The United States Department of Education recognized this gap as well, and that's why they funded the development of this innovative, cross-listed course.

Intentionally Engaging Training Content

We’ve heard from many RBTs that a lot of training courses are… Well, in the words of one we talked with, “snooze-worthy."

Learning is most effective when you’re not dozing off, so we’ve embedded various TikTokers, homebrewed memes, and pop culture exemplars throughout the course including: Shrek, Seinfeld, The Bachelor, House, Big Bang Theory, Rugrats, Caillou, The Office, Brooklyn 99., and so many more!

Developed by School-Based RBTs, just for you!

The entire training sequence was developed by qualified trainers with decades of experience in schools, including an educator turned BCBA and two paraeducators turned RBTs.
