Most intensive classrooms get assembled from whatever the teacher already knew, plus whatever the last training covered. A method is different. It says where the regulation spaces go and why, what gets recorded and how often, when support steps down, and what has to be true before a student goes back.

Project Nest for Educators is self-paced program development, written for the specialist who has to design and implement individualized support.
In-district programming, not a placement. Not a reset room and not a one-way door to a separate program. It's entry criteria, an intensive period with a stated end, and a transition back.

What This Means for You

You already know which ten minutes of the day are the most stressful and you know that two students will inevitably come apart at the same time while the rest of the team is already busy with something else.

What nobody handed you with the keys to this room is the design of the programming that happens within it. Why the room is laid out this way. What you write down and whether anyone reads it. How you'd know a student was ready for less support and how you'd show your work if somebody asked. What the law asks of you before and after a restrictive measure and how to send a student back before the year runs out rather than because it did.

You will make these decisions either way.
This positions you to make them on purpose.

If you want a classroom management refresher, this is not it. This one starts where those leave off.

Frequently Asked Questions

Have a question that's not listed? Just ask!

What type of program is this designed for?

Project Nest is designed for Tier 2–3 intervention programs serving students whose needs exceed general education and typical Tier 2 supports, but who can reasonably return to their local classrooms with the right support around them. It spans kindergarten through twelfth grade and addresses emotional and behavioral needs, high-functioning autism, chronic dysregulation and impulsivity, and emerging serious emotional health needs — including the students who are behaviorally at risk but have never qualified for special education, and who most systems leave without a pathway.

Who on my team should take it?

This version is written for educators — the teachers and specialists running the program day to day. Project Nest is also available for Administrators, Paraprofessionals, and a version for Colleagues is in the works.

How is this program delivered?

Sixteen self-paced modules, each pairing a narrated presentation with an audio-only version for the drive home, a companion ebook, and practitioner checklists where the content supports one. Collaborative asynchronous learning with peer educators led by expert coaches is also available.

How long will it take?

About thirty hours in total — roughly one planning period a week across a school year, or two a week for a semester. Modules run from forty-five minutes to a little over three hours, and a companion pacing guide lays out three routes through the same recommended sequence: four months, six months, or eight. You can also work a single strand straight through or set your own pace.

What materials will I receive?

A companion ebook for every module in both PDF and editable formats, practitioner checklists and implementation tools, the pacing guide, and ongoing access to the growing resource library into the years to come.

I have a whole team I'd like to enroll. Do you offer group rates?

Yes! District partners receive a 30% discount at TLC University. Contact us to explore what options may be available to you.

What is the refund policy?

Given the self-guided nature of this project experience, refunds are issued on a percentage completion basis within the first 90 days of enrollment.
